Scope
Shelley and Jhie approached us to work alongside Thursday Architecture in creating a unique and functional home that had the sophistication for entertaining, but still maintained a homely feel for a young family.
This project focuses on transforming the kitchen into the heart of the home, blending elegance, functionality, and modern convenience. The renovation will feature high-end finishes, integrated appliances, and a layout designed for both everyday living and entertaining.
Objective
Relocating the kitchen to the current lounge room space and vice versa optimized the flow and functionality of both spaces while maintaining and enhancing aesthetic appeal. Natural light and visibility of the beautifully manicured gardens was essential to meeting the client’s needs and preferences.
Originally a traditional double brick european style home, the objective was to transform the property into a luxurious living space that exceeds contemporary standards. We incorporated innovative design elements tailored to the client’s lifestyle using high end materials and luxury fittings.
Russ met with Shelley and Jhieto understand vision, requirements, and budget and liaised with the architect to create a bespoke design plan. The minimum was to fully renovate the downstairs level, and revise the layout to improve functionality. Not only did this relocate the kitchen and lounge, it also enabled the addition of a master walk-in robe and an extra bathroom. Russ was transparent with pricing and options so Shelley and Jhie could stay on budget and make informed decisions to meet their design priorities. This also ensured high-quality craftsmanship and materials throughout the renovation.
